Defence / FATS3

The UK MOD's Framework Agreement for Technical Support (FATS3) was initiated to open up the marketplace without increasing the time it takes to task suppliers. FATS3 provides MOD clients and other Government departments with a faster and easier method of procuring specialist capabilities from companies pre-qualified to provide technical services, including technical studies, project support and engineering support. Tubedale Ltd is a qualified supplier under FATS3, which ensures clients benefit from pre-agreed contract terms and conditions, rates and discounts.

The FATS3 contract is supported by the 'Market Knowledge Matrix' (MKM), which is a database of suppliers' capabilities based on the Defence Technology taxonomy.

The MKM is based on many Areas of Capability (AoC) covering the A to Z of technology and technical support functions used by the MOD.

Under FATS3, Tubedale is qualified to provide support services under the following AoCs:

• Business Processes
• Integrated Systems Technology
• Communications and CIS-related Technologies
• Installations and Facilities
• Project Management and Acquisition Support functions
